MonoX comes with a single default skin. You can easily introduce custom skins and templates to your projects.

Note that each skin consists of a THEME (all files - CSS, images,... - in the App_Themes folder and HTML Web part templates in the App_Templates folder), and one or many MASTER PAGES (in the /MonoX/MasterPages folder). You may use the templates presented here as a starting point for your custom solutions.

To install custom design templates published in this section, just follow this simple procedure:

  • Download the .zip package that contains all template files.
  • Put the .zip package in the root of your portal.
  • Uznip the package. Note that it will copy files to the following folders: /App_Templates, /App_Themes and /MonoX/MasterPages.
  • You can start to use a new template immediately: the "New page" menu in the Page management section will show the name of the template you've just installed. If you want to use the new template programatically, please be sure to set the MasterPage and Theme properties to the name of the new template. To test it, just change the MasterPageFile and Theme properties in the page declaration in the header of the target page, or use Page management / Page properties pane in the back end.
