Hi,

in MonoX discussion module you can create multiple boards and under every board you can create unlimited number of topics. Then you can limit access to the boards via membership roles and so on.  Is that the functionality that you are looking for or ? You can't create a board inside the board (e.g. sub-forum) but I don't see why you would do that, can you explain a bit more what exactly you are trying to accomplish ?

Actually I need this kind of configuration. Forums are very popular in Turkey and they work like categories. E.g. you want to create a forum about content management systems. First you will create two forums PHP and ASP.NET . Then you will create some sub-forums under both PHP and ASP.NET like "PORTALS, FORUMS, BLOGS etc" and these sub-forums will have their own sub-forums named with names of content management systems. People will talk about these content management systems.

This is just an example (actually I want to create a forum like this with MonoX). I wanted to explain why I need this.

Hi,

I see your point now, there is ability to extend the MonoX forum to handle sub-forums (boards) but it requires some coding and database changes. I have logged this as feature request and we will see if and when it will be accepted.
