Mono Support utf 8 problem (Closed)

Hi,

First of all I have solved my problem with groups that I mentioned in Turkish localization topic. There was a problem about creating groups.

I deleted all the files of my website and uploaded new files. I started installation but I used existing database option. I don't know how but the problem was solved.

But here is an utf 8 problem. I created a group named "İngilizce Öğretmenleri". In the groups list there is no problem but when I enter the group, the letter "Ö" is converted to utf 8. It is like "İngilizce Öğretmenleri"

I am attaching the picture of the group page.

This looks strange, as it seems that only the group title is wrong - all other non-ASCII characters are displayed correctly on this page, so it should not be a general encoding problem. Do you see this behavior anywhere else?

No, just the title. But I rewrite the title from admin panel. It is not a problem now. But I will not be able to edit from admin panel when a user creates a group.

I have tried to reproduce the issue several times without any luck, can you please provide us with more information, did you switched default language to TR and then tried to add the mentioned group title, if so can you please try to do the same for with English language and get back to us ?

I created the group with English language and there was no problem. I deleted the group and changed the language to Turkish. I created the group again and it is OK now. Somehow changing the language solved the problem :))
